Our next assignment was to take a small swatch of a large piece and reproduce it emphasizing texture. I saw this great piece by Noisehead from the Cans festival in London and chose to reporduce the lips/nose area. I tried to recreate a graffiti feels, but I fear that I have merely bastardized a fine art that should be kept on the streets and out of the classroom. Here is the origional.
